Jun 20, 2026Visited here during the previous summer. I ordered their weekly special, a steak, potatoes, and vegetables option. The steak was WAY overcooked and hard to cut, the potatoes appear to have been made from a box, and the green beans were from a can! I couldn't believe it! By the time our server asked us how our meal was, we just mumbled off and avoided the question so we could get out of there as fast as possible!

Jun 18, 2026To the manager of the Old Mohawlk Restaurant;My son and I were in there this past tuesday with a friend of my son's for lunch around 2pm in the afternoon.I was informed that one of your servers had called my place of employement to let their servers know how much my son's bill came to and what he tiped.I can not remember the servers name but I do not think that it was appropriate for your staff to call another restaurant to tell my buisness to.If it is possible, please e-mail me back and let me know what can be done about this. Jun 18, 2026Never had a bad meal there. Great place to hang out a little while, have a beer, gaze out the window and watch the traffic and people. Wait staff is always prompt and friendly. If you're in the mood for meatloaf - go on Thursday (currently the meatloaf special night) - you will not be disappointed. The place is under "new" management, but the food, drinks and service have been wonderful in all of the years we have gone there. Yes, it's in the GV so you have to park on the street, but you will most likely find a parking spot reasonably close. Go. Relax. Enjoy.
