The Atomic Cowboy

The service at this joint is so bad that I'm shocked anybody ever goes there twice. I've had sort of disinterested service at best in most of my experiences in this joint but this past weekend I was treated so badly that they will never see one single dollar from me ever again. Not only that but I will encourage my friends and family to boycott it as well. What's more, I am a bartender at not one but two downtown restaurants where I will tell all who will listen to me about the experience of having my daughter and myself quite openly neglected by a staff of kids who could never even get a job at the places where I work.... even still, every last one of them would have gotten excellent service from me if they sat down at my bar... Stay far, far away...

Unless you like to be made to feel unimportant by people who haven't got a clue about how to work in a restaurant, I would stear clear of this moron-staffed skeezhole.In my many years of trying to keep my money (all earned in restaurants) in the pool of others who make their money serving in bars and restaurants, I have never been openly neglected to the point where I finally had to pack up and leave hungry....Until now.I'm patient to the travails of a busy shift.I'm forgiving of mistakes made by servers, as I have made many myself over the last decade-and-a-half.I tip. I tip because my house, my cars, my motorcycle, my travels, my marriage, my kid have all been paid for with tip money.I know that, by looking at me, you would have no way of knowing any of that, but maybe they should have looked at my hungry daughter asking, "where's pizza" over and over again and the concerned dad making eye contact with every last one of the frightened staff members working that shift (Sunday lunch, April 3: check your Aloha records, owners), and said, "I'll be the one that takes some responsibility and some accountability and try to make this right."Nope.We left hungry and angry.My daughter dropped her very first F-Bomb over it.I took my business to Marco's Coal Fire Pizza where the service was top notch and my daughter and I left full and happy.
