Callender's Grill

wow, close this place down. Took an hour just to get a chicken pot pie and it wasnt even good. The veggies were dead. No life and very limp. How is this place still open? The service is horrible, we got no attention even when we wanted to pay. Stay away.

I enjoyed coming to this restaurant when I worked in the Mid-Wilshire area, and I occasionally get back for a quick meal when I happen to be in the area. One of my favorite dishes is the Traditional Caesar Salad with chicken, served with romaine lettuce, garlic croutons and three cheeses. I've also enjoyed the Fish and Chips and really enjoy the Frisco Burger with "the works," minus the Thousand Island dressing. All in all a decent place, and one I return to when in the area.

Great Food--and Great location! This is not your average Marie Callender's--beautiful building--great crowd in the bar--and great food to go!

I haven't been to Callendars in many years so I went to lunch with a friend. The waitress was absolutely gracious, friendly with a big smile. Too bad the food was not up to par. The salad with my sandwich was limp and brown. I asked for another and it still looked the same to me except they added some cheese on top. Needless to say, I did not eat it. The parking is $3.00 with validation.
