Jun 23, 2026Enjoyed a long meal with some coworkers. We were taking advantage of dineLA week, with prix fix menu and prices. Note - they have items on the menu that you have to pay extra for (why even bother having it on the menu if you're going to have to pay more than the prix fix in the first place). I chose a green salad for my first course, and the steamed mussels as my second. The salad was tasty and had a light olive oil vinagarette dressing paired with some goat cheese. Really simple, kinda boring. But, the mussels were delicious!! It was cooked in a wine-garlic-buttery reduction and served with their pommes frites (french fries). Pros- Great area to hang out in, in the heart of Beverly Hills. There's a large underground parking structure next door to the restaurant and Montage hotel. Cons - Really slow service. My water was rarely filled, and our drinks that were supposed to be paired with our dishes were not served with the actual dish. We had to wait at least 5-10 minutes post serving to get our drink. By that time our food was cold. The point of having a wine pairing is to enjoy the meal WITH the wine. Even the time it took to get our check was a bit slow. Overall, I expected better service and better food for this high-class top-rated chef's restaurant.
